People and Leadership

Young has over 19 years experience in the capital market focusing on alternative financing for US real estate development. Since 2009, he has raised and managed over $500 million from all over Asia, including from Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and China. Young has participated in over $2 billion of aggregated real estate development projects in major US gateway cities. As the President and CEO of 8th Bridge Captial, Young develops and articulates strategic investment opportunities, assesses attendant risks, and guides the firm’s growth. Early in his career, Young worked at Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo. Young has a B.A. and M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Rusty is a corporate legal counsel for 8th Bridge Capital. He has over 16 years of experience in business law and specializes in complex real estate litigations. He oversees the legal aspects of 8th Bridge Capital's business ventures and operations. Rusty has been selected to the Southern California Super Lawyers list 4 years in a row. Rusty received his B.A. from Stanford University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Before his current roles, Jun Choi built over a decade of experience in mortgage banking and real estate finance. As Founder and former CFO of Mortgage One Group, he led a nationwide lending platform serving developers, builders, and homebuyers, and now serves on its Board of Directors. Jun holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from UCLA, bringing strong financial discipline and capital markets insight to real estate investment and lending.
